The Bill Miller Bar-B-Q Water Tower


(San Antonio, TX) The Bill Miller Bar-B-Q Water Tower (complete with giant straw) at their corporate offices acknowledges the big deal made about their huge iced tea servings.

According to the Bill Miller web site: In 2001 they "used 2 MILLION POUNDS of sugar to sweeten iced tea. . .

Used 600,000 tea bags, to brew 3 MILLION GALLONS of tea, or 10 MILLION large iced teas. . .

And sold over 100,000 TEXAS TEA BUCKETS, in quart-size insulated drink mug."

The Pearl Brewery

The Pearl Brewery - (San Antonio, TX) Located at 312 Pearl Parkway,The Pearl Brewery, now closed, began producing beer in 1886. The brewery and adjacent buildings are still there, soon to be refurbished and transformed in to a multicultural business / education complex.
