TV Motel

(San Antonio, Texas) Refrigerated air and television? Count me in. Can you imagine - back in the day - this combination must have been powerful enough to pull any sedan off the highway.

This sign located somewhere on the southwest side of town -- Off Old Castroville Highway, I think.

(Austin, TX) This hand made stencil poster has been on the drag in Austin, Texas for some time now. Somewhere I think where Tower Records used to be.

Randy's Rodeo

Randy's Rodeo (San Antonio, TX) It's been a bowling alley, dance hall and bingo parlor, but on January 8, 1978 it was to become a notorius part of the Sex Pistols history. As part of their 7-city (originally 11-city) U.S. Tour. The San Antonio show is well known to be the best show of their short American stint. It was also to signal the beginning of the end of this landmark band.
